Spent the last two weeks here while getting our trucked worked on. Great park, great host. Charlie is adding some sites and reworking some sites. Leveling them and putting in new gravel. Would definitely stay here again.

This park might have been a good park in it's day. That time has passed. Many of their electrical connections are broken and laying on the ground with exposed wiring. They have no water pressure. There was a significant amount of garbage laying around. We would NOT stay here again.

Our experience here has been completely positive. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to change my site from the first one I selected with no question at all. It is older and somewhat rustic but very peaceful. Clean showers/restrooms/laundry facilities. I most certainly would camp here again.

This park was a lifesaver for us. Had trouble with our truck out on I-10. Was able to get here to the park and fix the truck. The folks that operate the place and a few of the retired guys kept offering to help fix the truck. The park is nice and clean and easy to access the interstate without road noise. Trains were not a problem. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this park...

I would love to give this park a higher rating. Based on what I paid per night and the garbage around the park, it won't happen. I keep telling myself not to pay these ridiculous rates that KOA's charge and this one might be the one that convinces me to do that. The work campers and employees are very friendly and helpful but I watched them all ride by bags of garbage left on sites the entire time I was here. This park also has quite a few "permanents" with junk all around their rigs. I would not stay here again. (800) 562-7701

My review will echo the previous poster's. Would like a little more room between units. We are in site 36 which is a corner site close to the marina. A little more room in it. Excellent Wi-Fi and cell reception. We would stay here again.

Nice older park. Good location for access to the local sights and beaches. Owner and workcampers were very helpful and friendly. Situated right on 101 but no road noise at the back of the park. Disadvantage to being at the back of the park is no Wi-Fi signal in our rig. They were very accommodating to us when we arrived without a reservation and everything in the area was booked. I highly recommend them and would stay here again.

Spent a week here while our daughter was visiting us. Only issue I had with the park was the wifi being down, and some rowdy neighbors the last two days we were there. We would stay here again.

Park is nice enough. A little pricey but not a bad place to home base to explore the area. Roads and sites are gravel and the roads into the sites are a little tight. Our site is level. The park is quiet, clean, and well kept. The office staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.

Nice park. Sites are large. Employees are very friendly. Reason for lower rating is no local or cable TV, and must go to office for Wi-Fi.

I'm rating this park a 6 simply because the transient sites are entirely too tight for modern RV's. The staff was very friendly. BBQ available on site is a plus. Easy access from the interstate is a plus. I would not stay here again though unless I could get a larger site.

Nice park w/friendly staff. About 15 miles outside of the springs. We did two nights so did not have full hookups. The short term pull-through sites are in front of the office so there's a fair amount of traffic. I would stay here again.

Great park in a great location. Still some damage from Ivan but repairs are being made.

Nice park close enough to the quarter to make it a cheap way to do New Orleans.

Nice park west of the city. Paved level sites with enough room between sites. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast every morning. There is some road construction that makes getting off the interstate and onto the frontage road somewhat difficult. We would stay here again.

This is an excellent park to spend some time in the RGV. All sites are concrete with well manicured grass around that. Flowers and shrubs planted between sites. The back in sites in the 200 number range are a little close together but you can put all slides and awnings out without a problem. I highly recommend this park if you are in this area.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Sites are a bit tight but not uncomfortable. Very clean park facilities. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful state historical area with a campground. We are here during the off season, and we have the park to ourselves. Beautiful desert, wildlife,and stars, and it is quiet. Staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Campground is a little bit noisy with a fair amount of traffic moving thorough at night. To be fair, our site was next to the entrance road to the park. Sites are very close together but was able to fit with slides out. No way to put awning out. We would stay here again if back in the area.

Nice little park in Roswell. Friendly staff. Wifi available in office area. Sites are level gravel. Good power. Very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice small park in Carlsbad. Some traffic noise and some train noise. Friendly staff. Appears to be 4 sites for transient RV's with remainder taken by permanents. We would stay here again.

This park appears to be going through some change. The sign at the entrance says Bay Park RV Park. All the literature and the web site says Alabama Port RV Park. Office is an Anchor Realty office. They have approximately 10 new concrete sites that they are listing as RV sites for sale. All of the others are either back in or pull through gravel lots. The lots are level and easy to get into. The bath house is a mess. On the men's side, the toilets are not clean and several do not appear to work. There is one shower that has a curtain and appears to be used somewhat regularly as there are personal bath items left in there permanently. The building appears to be of fairly recent construction and it looks like they just did not finish it nor maintain it. The woman's side is of a similar condition according to my wife. There is an abundance of garbage around the perimeter of the park and the dumpster is overflowing. Park personnel are aware of it as they were mowing the grass close to it today. The park does have potential to be a nice place, but I cannot recommend it in it's current condition.
